Hi, I’m Patricia!
I’ve lived in KW for as long as I can remember. Fluent in English and Spanish, I graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University with a degree in English Literature. I’ve read thousands of books - fiction and non-fiction over the course of my life. Words are my passion. And taking complicated jargon and simplifying it to every day language is my jam! After graduating university I did what most people in the region do and I got myself a job working for one of the Insurance giants in town. While working there I’ve gained experience in many areas of communication - customer marketing, product marketing, content marketing, executive communications and social media strategy planning. I’m currently pursuing a Digital Strategy & Communications Management certificate from the University of Toronto.
In my spare time, I keep myself busy by volunteering as a mentor for women just starting out in their careers in communications, lending my skills to Creative Day 4 Social Good, an initiative that brings together marketing & communications professionals from across the region who donate their time and guide talented animation, graphic design, and public relations students from Conestoga College to create new identity designs, marketing materials, or even new websites, and videos, will be unveiled to the non-profits who’ve been selected to participate within a 24 hour time frame, and when I’m not doing that, I’m finding trails to walk in the region with my pup.
